Air Conditioning Switch: Description and Operation
PURPOSE
Signals the ECM that the A/C system is ON.
LOCATION
On the HVAC control panel.
OPERATION
When the A/C system is ON a signal is sent to the ECM. The ECM increases idle speed to ensure smooth engine operation.
