Trailer Connector: Description and Operation
Circuit Operation
The trailer connector is an extension of the main wiring harness. Some early production Rodeo may have a power wired converter box, where the RED
wire on the extension must be spliced into the RED/WHI wire above the luggage room light. If this converter does not receive 12 V at all times, it will
not send any output signals to operate the trailer lights.
On Rodeo Sport and late production Rodeo, there is no jumper wire needed to supply power to the converter.
