REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. EBCM

Solenoid Connector

2. Solenoid connector

CAUTION:  Place a shop towel beneath the hydraulic modulator brake pipes to prevent brake fluid from contaminating motor pack or electrical
connectors.

3. Brake pipes

CAUTION:  Do not allow brake fluid to get on painted surface, motor and electrical connectors.

4. Hydraulic unit fixing bolt
5. Hydraulic unit

Remove hydraulic unit from vehicle.

6. Harness connector

^

Disconnect motor pack harness connector.

7. Hydraulic unit bracket

INSTALLATION

To install, follow the removal steps in the reverse order, noting the following points:

Specs:
Hydraulic unit fixing bolt 25 Nm (18 lb. ft.)
Brake pipe (joint bolts) 12 Nm (9 lb. ft.)
Hydraulic unit bracket fixing 10 Nm (7 lb. ft.) 

NOTE:

When installing solenoid connectors, be careful to install them in their correct positions as illustrated.

After installing, bleed air from brake system. See: Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Service and Repair/System Bleed
