Measurements Are Nm (ft. Lbs.)

INSTALLATION

1. Align the setting marks applied during disassembly and install the inner rod end tightening the lock nut to 118 Nm (87 ft. lbs.).

NOTE: In either outer rod, the screw on the right side of the vehicle is threaded counterclockwise.

2. Align the setting marks applied during disassembly and install the outer  tie rod end assembly, tightening the lock nut to 118 Nm (87 ft. lbs.).
3. Attach the nut and cotter pin to the knuckle arm. Tighten the nut to 98 Nm (72 ft. lbs.) with just enough additional torque to align cotter pin holes

then install a new cotter pin.

4. Attach the nut and cotter pin to the center track rod and tighten the nut to 98 Nm (72 ft. lbs.) with just enough additional torque to align cotter pin

holes then install a new cotter pin.

NOTE:

If replacing the track rod, adjust the new track rod length, it should measure 298.9 mm (11.77 inch).

Adjust the toe-in.
