Camshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair
Installation Procedure
1. Install the CMP sensor in the cylinder head.
2. Install the CMP sensor retaining bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the retaining screw to 9 N.m (78 lb in.).
4. Install the common chamber assembly.
Refer to common chamber in Engine Mechanical
3. Connect the electrical connector to the CMP sensor.
5. Install the engine cover.
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
