Reinsert the (White) locking tab to the connector. (Figure 6)

Wrap this connector with vinyl tape as originally applied.

3.

Connect the (I-13) 2-pin yellow SRS connector at the base of the steering column.

4.

Bundle the harnesses of the combination switch and the SRS coil assembly together with vinyl tape at midpoint.

5.

Reinstall the lower air conditioning duct.

6.

Reinstall the steering column cover.

7.

Reinstall the driver knee bolster assembly.

8.

Reinstall the steering lower cover.

9.

Set and align the SRS coil to "neutral" position.

Make sure the front wheels are pointing straight ahead.

Slowly rotate the coil fully clockwise, then turn it counter-clockwise (3) three turns. (Figure 7)

IMPORTANT  When turning the SRS coil clock wise to full stop turning if resistance is felt. Forcing the coil to turn further may damage the cable in
the SRS coil.
