See figure 1 for an example of a incorrect weatherstrip position.

Open the door and remove the weatherstrip from the weatherstrip channel down to the door panel (see figure 2).
NOTE:

Complete removal of the weatherstrip is not necessary.

If Butyl Tape is found on the vehicle's weatherstrip, use care to avoid damaging or allowing debris to come in contact with the existing
Butyl Tape as found on the door and weatherstrip.

Butyl Tape will be reused during the weatherstrip reinstallation (see figure 3).

Butyl Tape cannot be ordered through AIPDN.
