Chart A

A. If the recorded PCM calibration is listed in Chart A, then an updated fuel sender has already been installed. Do not replace the fuel sender. Go

to step 7.

B. If the recorded PCM calibration is not listed in Chart A, replace the Fuel Sender with the appropriate updated part number listed under PARTS

INFORMATION in this Bulletin. Refer to the Work-shop Manual and/or SB98-02-L002 for replacement procedure. Then go to step 7.

For 1999 Rodeo (UE) and Amigo (UA), the updated Fuel Sender has already been installed by the manufacturer. Do not replace the Fuel Sender.
Go to step 7.

For 1998-99 Trooper (UX) models, replace the Fuel Sender with the appropriate updated part number listed under PARTS INFORMATION in
this Bulletin. Refer to the appropriate Workshop Manual for replacement procedure. Then go to step 7.

IMPORTANT: Prior to performing the calibration, disconnect the ABS module when programming the Trooper & VehiCROSS.

For 1999 VehiCROSS (VX), refer to chart B for the correct P1441 calibration number. Then refer to the ITCS for the Service Programming
Procedure. All SPS procedures are outlined in the ITCS.
