Rotate the crankshaft in a clockwise direction to Top Dead Center (TDC - Cylinder # 1). (Figure 3 and 4)

Insert the cam locking tool (J-43037). (Figure 5)

9.

Remove the timing belt tensioner. (Figure 4)

10.

Remove the timing belt and discard. (Figure 4)

11.

Inspect both left and right idler pulleys. Spin each idler pulley by hand.
