Ignition Cable: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

-

The cable contains a synthetic conductor which is easily damaged. Never stretch or kink the cable.

Disconnect the cable from the spark plug and from the distributor.

The original equipment cables and distributor cap are marked to show correct location of the cables. If after-market cap and cables are being used,
tag the cables and mark the distributor cap as cables are removed so that they can be reconnected in the same position.

Firing order: 1-3-4-2 (clockwise)
