Canister Purge Solenoid: Description and Operation
EVAP Canister Purge Solenoid.
Normally closed, the purge solenoid opens upon the PCM's signal to allow engine vacuum to purge gasoline fumes from the canister. Mounted on the
water pipe to front of the engine assembly.
