Using a small pair of wire cutters, carefully cut the plastic outer cover of the front seat belt buckle along the separation line between the two cover
halves (Figure 1).

Insert a medium size screwdriver into the edge of the slot, and gently pry open the two cover halves of the buckle (Figure 2).

IMPORTANT!

When disassembling the driver front seat belt buckle, do not pry in the center of the slot with the screwdriver - this could damage the switch assembly
contained inside.
