(Driver front seat belt buckle only) Using the wire cutters, carefully cut the three plastic pins that hold the switch assembly to the lower cover. Cut
the bottom pin first, slide the switch down, then cut the top two pins (Figure 3).

(Driver front seat belt buckle only)
Use a small flat blade screwdriver to pry the switch assembly from the lower cover.

Remove the two cover halves.

Press the seat belt release button and release the latch spring using a small screwdriver (Figure 4).

Remove the release button and latch spring by applying a slight upward force while pulling the release button out of the buckle assembly (Figure
5).
