Lateral Stabilizer Rod: Service and Repair

1.

Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel and tire assembly.

Remove retaining bolts. To remove the lateral link bolt on the lefthand side, loosen the crossmember retaining nuts and pull down the
crossmember as far as possible. This will prevent interface with the fuel tank and create space to pull the bolt free. Use a jack or
equivalent for safety when dropping down the crossmember.

3.

Remove lateral link. Do not loosen turn buckle on link unless necessary.

4.

Reverse procedure to install. Lateral link with turn buckle must be installed toward the rear of the vehicle.
