Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair
1. On models equipped with airbag system, refer to Technician Safety Information for system disarming and arming procedures.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable, then insulate cable end with electrical tape, or equivalent.
3. Disconnect oxygen sensor cable harness connector.
4. Disconnect exhaust pipe from manifold.
5. Remove heat protector, then disconnect EGR pipe clip.
6. Remove exhaust manifold from cylinder head.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
8. On models equipped with airbag system, refer to Technician Safety Information for system disarming and arming procedures.
