Turn Signal Switch: Service and Repair

1. On models equipped with airbag system, refer to Technician Safety Information for system disarming and arming procedures.
2. Place ignition switch in lock position, then disconnect battery ground cable and tape cable end.
3. Remove steering wheel as outlined under Steering Wheel.
4. Disconnect horn wires from steering wheel, then remove upper and lower steering cowl covers.
5. Remove coil assembly, then the steering lock assembly retaining ring from steering column.
6. Remove steering lock retaining bolt, then the steering lock assembly.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
8. On models equipped with airbag system, refer to Technician Safety Information for system disarming and arming procedures.
