Repair Chart M
Complaint: Rattle from tailgate doors
Cause: Tailgate door dovetail bolts contacting striker
Repair:
1.
Loosen dovetail bolts.
2.
Apply chassis grease to underside of bolts heads.
3.
Adjust position of bolts to eliminate contact with striker when door is closed.
4.
Tighten bolts to 104 in.lbs.
5.
Adjust striker as necessary.
