This Service Bulletin provides important identification data to ensure that a proper pairing of transmission and TCM is always made. Figures 1 through 3
show the typical location of the identification plate on both the transmission and TCM. Figure 1 shows the typical location on transmissions and TCMs
manufactured by Bosch for 1990-93 MY vehicles. Figures 2 and 3 show the typical location on transmissions and TCMs manufactured by Delco
Electronics for 1994 and 1995-95.5 MY vehicles respectively.
