Control Arm: Service and Repair

Removal

1.

Remove the wheel and tire assembly.

2.

Remove the strut bar and withdraw the stabilizer from the rod.

3.

Remove the torsion bar.

4.

Remove the lower shock absorber bolt.

5.

Take out the two bolts retaining the lower ball joint and disconnect the lower ball joint from the lower control arm.
