Heater Core Case: Service and Repair
Heater Unit and Associated Parts
Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Drain the engine coolant.
3. Discharge and recover refrigerant (with air conditioning)
4. Remove the Instrument panel assembly. Refer to: "Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators : Instrument Panel" See: Instrument

5. Disconnect the water hoses at the heater unit.
6. Disconnect resistor connector.
7. Remove duct.
