Brake Light Bulb: Description and Operation
With the ignition switch in START, battery voltage is applied to the brake system indicator light. The alternator provides ground, which turns on the
indicator light until the engine begins running. The light comes on while the engine is cranking to test the brake system indicator light bulb. See Charging
