SERVICE INFORMATION
Condition:
On some affected vehicles, the front and rear output flange lock nuts of the Torque-On-Demand (TOD) 4-WD system transfer case might be without
staking. In such cases, there is a possibility that the lock nut may loosen, resulting in separation of the propeller shaft rendering the vehicle inoperative.
Correction:
Inspect the front and rear output flange lock nuts of the TOD transfer case for staking, following the procedures outlined in this bulletin.

All unsold new vehicles in dealer's possession and subject to this campaign must be held and repaired per the service procedure in this Campaign
Bulletin before customers take possession of their vehicles.
