Disassembly
1. Remove the strut and spring assembly. For additional information, refer to Removal and Installation.
2. WARNING: AS THE SPRING IS UNDER EXTREME TENSION CARE MUST BE TAKEN AT ALL TIMES. FAILURE TO
FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY.
NOTE: The shock absorber assembly has a unique upper isolator orientation requirement to minimize the Side-load effects of the spring on the
damper. Therefore make a note of this orientation before dissembling the shock absorber.
Clamp the road spring.
