Procedure 1 - Front Height Rise or Cushion Extension Corrective Action

PROCEDURE 1: FRONT HEIGHT RISE OR CUSHION EXTENSION CORRECTIVE ACTION

NOTE:

Global Technical Reference (GTR) lookup sequence is as follows:

GTR Home> NAS > Service Information/X350 - XJ/2007 (or XK or S-TYPE)> Workshop Manuals > Bookmark "Body and Paint/Body and
Paint/510-10 Seating> Link "Front Seat (76.70.01)".

1.

If it is determined that the motor is faulty, refer to GTR section 501-10 (76.70.01) and install a new front seat base.

2.

If the seat is juddering or has noisy seat operation refer to GTR section 501-10 (76.70.01) and remove the front seat.

3.

Transfer the seat onto a suitable work surface.
