Defrost Actuator

Defrost Vent/Register Blend Door Actuator (82.20.84)

Removal

All vehicles

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

Left-hand drive vehicles

1. Remove the instrument panel.
2. Remove the defrost vent/register blend door actuator.

Disconnect the electrical connector.

-

Remove the defrost vent/register blend door actuator.

NOTE:  Place instrument panel upside down.Take care to protect instrument panel from damage.

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE:  During installation make sure the actuator is fully meshed with the driven flap before tightening the bolts.
