Instrument Panel Blend Door Actuator

Instrument Panel Blend Door Actuator (82.20.83)

Removal

All vehicles

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

Left-hand drive vehicles only

1. Remove the glove compartment.
2. Disconnect the instrument panel blend door actuator remote linkage.

Disconnect the electrical connector.

-

Disconnect the instrument panel blend door actuator remote linkage.

3. Remove the instrument panel blend door actuator.

-

Remove the retaining bolts.

-

Remove the instrument panel blend door actuator.

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE:  During installation make sure the actuator is fully meshed with the driven flap before tightening the bolts.
