Air Injection Pump: Service and Repair

Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Pump

Removal

1. Remove the radiator splash shield.
2. Disconnect the secondary air injection (AIR) pump electrical connector.

3. Disconnect the AIR pump hose.

4. Remove the AIR pump retaining bolt.

5. Remove the AIR pump.

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Tighten to 9 Nm.
