4. CAUTION: Make sure the area is washed down thoroughly before removing the steering gear boot.
Remove the tie-rod boot.
Installation
1. CAUTION: Make sure the tie-rod is clean before installing the steering gear boot.
NOTE: Install new retaining clamps.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
