PASSENGER COMPARTMENT FLOOR CARPET

Removal

1. Remove battery cover and disconnect ground cable from battery terminal. 
2. Remove rear seat cushion. See: Seats/Seat Cushion/Service and Repair
3. Remove front seats. See: Seats/Service and Repair
4. Remove 'J' gate finisher. See: Console/Service and Repair
5. Remove centre console finisher veneer panel. See: Console/Service and Repair
6. Remove fascia centre veneer panel. See: Console/Service and Repair
7. Remove centre console. See: Console/Service and Repair
8. Remove 'A' post lower trim pads. See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair
9. Remove 'B' post trim pads. 

10. Slacken and remove centre console heater ducting securing screw and remove ducting from vehicle.
11. Rotate heelboard fasteners 1/4 turn and remove both heelboards from vehicle.
12. Remove front sill treadplates. See door Sill Tread Plate, using Rear sill treadplate Service and Repair. 
13. Remove rear sill treadplates. See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair

14. Release the carpet retainers from BIW flanges at each side.
