1. Switch the ignition to the OFF position.
2. Measure the resistance between the diagnostic connector IP022 pin 10, (U) harness side and GROUND.

Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
-> Yes
Go to B4 See: Pinpoint Tests/B : In Car Entertainment (ICE) Head/B4 : Check OBD2 Connector Bus Bar "+" to ICE Head For Open
-> No
REPAIR circuit bus bar minus (U). TEST the system for normal operation.
B4 : Check OBD2 Connector Bus Bar "+" to ICE Head For Open
1. Disconnect the ICE head.
2. Measure the resistance between the diagnostic connector IP022 pin 2, (Y) harness side and the ICE head IP065 pin 9, (Y) harness side.

Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
-> Yes
REPAIR the circuit between the diagnostic connector IP022 pin 2, (Y) harness side and the ICE head IP065 pin 9, (Y) harness side. TEST
for normal operation.
-> No
Go to B5 See: Pinpoint Tests/B : In Car Entertainment (ICE) Head/B5 : Check OBD2 Connector Bus Bar "-" to ICE Head For Open
B5 : Check OBD2 Connector Bus Bar "-" to ICE Head For Open
1. Measure the resistance between the diagnostic connector IP022 pin 10, (U) harness side and the ICE head IP065 pin 10, (U) harness side.

Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
-> Yes
REPAIR the circuit between the diagnostic connector IP022 pin 10, (U) harness side and the ICE head IP065 pin 10, (U) harness side.
TEST for normal operation.
-> No
INSTALL a new ICE head. TEST for normal operation.
C1 : Check DATC For Damage
1. Disconnect the DATC IP101.
2. INSPECT the DATC for damage.
-
Does the DATC indicate any signs of damage?
-> Yes
INSTALL a new DATC. TEST the system for normal operation.
-> No
Go to C2 See: Pinpoint Tests/C : Dual Automatic Temperature Control (DATC) Module/C2 : Check Control Area Network (CAN) Circuit
(Y) For Voltage

1. Connect the DATC IP101.
