2. Switch the ignition to the RUN position.
3. Measure the voltage between the diagnostic connector IP022 pin 6, (Y) data bus plus harness side and GROUND.

Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
-> YES
Go to C3 See: Pinpoint Tests/C : Dual Automatic Temperature Control (DATC) Module/C3 : Check Can Ground Circuit (G)
-> No
REPAIR the circuit bus bar plus (Y). TEST the system for normal operation.
C3 : Check Can Ground Circuit (G)
1. Switch the ignition to the OFF position.
2. Measure the resistance between the diagnostic connector IP022 pin 14, (G) data bus minus side and GROUND.

Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
-> YES
Go to C4 See: Pinpoint Tests/C : Dual Automatic Temperature Control (DATC) Module/C4 : Check DATC Module to OBD2 Bus Bar "+"
Circuit (Y) For Open
-> No
REPAIR the circuit bus bar minus (G). TEST the system for normal operation.
C4 : Check DATC Module to OBD2 Bus Bar "+" Circuit (Y) For Open
1. Disconnect the DATC module IP101.
2. Measure the resistance between the DATC module IP101 pin 22 (Y) and the OBD2 connector IP022 pin 6.

Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
-> YES
REPAIR the circuit between the DATC module IP101 pin 22 (Y) and the OBD2 connector IP022 pin 6. TEST the system for normal
operation.
-> No
Go to C5 See: Pinpoint Tests/C : Dual Automatic Temperature Control (DATC) Module/C5 : Check DATC Module to OBD2 Bus Bar "-"
Circuit (G) For Open
C5 : Check DATC Module to OBD2 Bus Bar "-" Circuit (G) For Open
1. Measure the resistance between the DATC module IP101 pin 23 (G) and the OBD2 connector IP022 pin 14.

Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
-> YES
REPAIR the circuit between the DATC module IP101 pin 23 (G) and the OBD2 connector IP022 pin 14 TEST the system for normal
operation.
-> No
INSTALL a new DATC module. TEST the system for normal operation.
D1 : Check For Response to Approved Jaguar Diagnostic Tester
1. TEST IC for normal operation.

Does the IC respond to the control area network (CAN)
-> YES
Go to D2 See: Pinpoint Tests/D : Instrument Cluster (IC)/D2 : Check IC For Damage
