D11 : Check IC Module to OBD2 Bus Bar "-" Circuit (G) For Open
1. Measure the resistance between the diagnostic connector IP022 pin 14, (G) harness side and the IC IP010 pin 18.

Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
-> YES
REPAIR the circuit between the diagnostic connector IP022 pin 14, (G) harness side and the IC IP010 pin 18. TEST the system for normal
operation.
-> No
INSTALL a new IC module. TEST the system for normal operation.
E1 : Check GEM For Damage
1. Disconnect the GEM IP005.
2. INSPECT the GEM for damage.
-
Does the GEM indicate any signs of damage?
-> YES
INSTALL a new GEM. TEST the system for normal operation.
-> No
Go to E2 See: Pinpoint Tests/E : Generic Electronic Module (GEM)/E2 : Check the SCP Circuit (Y) For Voltage
E2 : Check the SCP Circuit (Y) For Voltage
1. Switch the ignition to the RUN position.
2. Measure the voltage between the diagnostic connector IP022 pin 2, (Y) harness side and GROUND.

Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
-> YES
Go to E3 See: Pinpoint Tests/E : Generic Electronic Module (GEM)/E3 : Check the SCP Network Ground Circuit (G)
-> No
REPAIR circuit bus bar plus (Y). TEST the system for normal operation.
E3 : Check the SCP Network Ground Circuit (G)
1. Switch the ignition to the OFF position.
2. Measure the resistance between the diagnostic connector IP022 pin 10, (U) harness side and GROUND.

Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
-> YES
Go to E4 See: Pinpoint Tests/E : Generic Electronic Module (GEM)/E4 : Check OBD2 Connector Bus Bar "+" (Y) to GEM For Open
-> No
REPAIR circuit bus bar minus (U). TEST the system for normal operation.
E4 : Check OBD2 Connector Bus Bar "+" (Y) to GEM For Open
1. Disconnect the GEM.
2. Measure the resistance between the diagnostic connector IP022 pin 2, (Y) harness side and the GEM IP005 pin 19, (Y) harness side.

Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
-> YES
