Powertrain Assembly Jack HTJ1200-2

Removal

All vehicles

1. Drain the fuel tank.
2. Remove the rear wheels and tires.

CAUTION:  The brake caliper must be supported at all times.

NOTE:  Left-hand shown, right-hand similar.

3. Detach the brake caliper and anchor plate.

Remove and discard the brake caliper anchor plate retaining bolts.

CAUTION:  The brake caliper must be supported at all times.

NOTE:  Left-hand shown, right-hand similar.

4. Remove the brake disc.

Mark the brake disc position in relation to the hub.

CAUTION:  The brake caliper must be supported at all times.

NOTE:  Left-hand shown, right-hand similar.

5. Using a suitable tie strap, secure the brake caliper to the upper arm.
