3. Remove the Integrated Power Module (IPM) (1) See: Power and Ground Distribution/Power Distribution Module/Service and Repair/Integrated
Power Module (IPM) - Removal
4. Disengage the latches on the Power Distribution Center (PDC) support brackets.
5. Position the PDC and electrical harness aside.
6. Raise and support the vehicle.
7. Remove the lower splash shield retaining bolts (1) and the splash shield.
8. Remove the front propeller shaft (4 X 4 equipped vehicles) See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Drive/Propeller Shafts, Bearings and
Joints/Drive/Propeller Shaft/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Drive Shaft - Removal
CAUTION: When servicing or replacing exhaust system components, disconnect the oxygen sensor connector(s). Allowing the exhaust to hang
by the oxygen sensor wires will damage the harness and/or sensor.
