Remove Pinion Gear
6. Remove the pinion gear from housing. Catch the pinion with your hand to prevent it from falling and being damaged.
Seal Removal
7. Use Remover 7794-A and slide hammer to remove the pinion shaft seal.
8. Remove oil slinger, if equipped, and front pinion bearing.
