Brake Pedal Assy: Service and Repair
Repair Procedures

Removal

1. Remove the crash pad lower panel. .
2. Remove the IPM after removing the nut and connector. 
3. Disconnect the adjust cable (A).

4. Remove the steering column assembly by loosening the mounting nuts.
5. Disconnect the stop lamp switch connector (A).

6. Remove the mounting bracket bolts (B).

Tightening torque:
16.7 - 25.5 N.m (1.7 - 2.6 kgf.m, 12.3 - 18.8 lb-ft)

7. the snap pin (A) and clevis pin (B).

8. Remove the brake pedal member assembly mounting nuts and then remove the brake pedal assembly.

Tightening torque:
12.7 - 15.7 N.m (1.3 - 1.6 kgf.m, 9.4 - 11.6 lb-ft)
