3. Lift up the engine assembly slightly by using a jack to get access to the side of engine.
4. Remove the engine support bracket (A) and the starter protector (B).
Tightening torque :
(A) 49.0 - 63.7 N.m (5.0 - 6.5 kgf.m, 36.2 - 47.0 lb-ft)
(B) 0.9 - 1.4 N.m (8.8 - 13.7 kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb-ft)
5. Disconnect the starter cable (A) from the B terminal on the solenoid, and the connector (B) from the S terminal, and then remove the wiring
protector.
6. Remove the starter (A).
Tightening torque :
49.0 - 63.7 N.m (5.0 - 6.5 kgf.m, 36.2 - 47.0 lb-ft)
7. Installation is reverse order of removal.
