PRECAUTION BEFORE ADDING OR CHANGING BRAKE FLUID
This bulletin provides a general guideline that should be followed whenever the brake fluid reservoir cap is to be removed for the purpose of adding
brake fluid or refilling the brake fluid reservoir. The information in this bulletin applies to all Kia models.
NOTICE
IMPORTANT: Make sure to completely remove any foreign substances from the brake fluid reservoir and around the cap area before removing the
reservoir cap. Otherwise possible contamination of the brake fluid and deterioration in braking performance could occur.
Service procedure: removing Foreign Substances Around Brake fluid reservoir Cap
1. If brake fluid reservoir cap is located in front of cowl top cover, first thoroughly wipe foreign substances off the brake fluid reservoir and cap; then
open the cap to add brake fluid or refill reservoir.
