Description
This bulletin provides information relating to the illumination of the Supplemental restraint System (SRS)/Airbag Warning lamp for diagnostic trouble
codes B1378 & B1382 in some 2001 - 2005 MY optima vehicles produced between 10/01/2001 - 3/14/2005. Some technicians are replacing the Airbag
Diagnostic Unit (ADU) in such vehicles before conducting an appropriate analysis to determine whether replacement is necessary.
Before replacing the ADU, follow the inspection procedure outlined in this TSB.
