OPTIMA 2.7L ECM UPGRADE
This bulletin provides information relating to an Optima ECM upgrade. Some 2003MY Optima vehicles built between 5/31/02 - 4/25/03 and some
2004MY vehicles built between 5/14/04 - 7/24/04 may experience a hesitation while driving.
Use the procedures in this bulletin to reprogram the Hi-Scan Pro, Engine Control Module (ECM) software for 2003 - 2004 MY Optima vehicles with
2.7L engines to resolve this hesitation concern.
