Tire Pressure Monitor Receiver / Transponder: Service and Repair
REPLACEMENT
NOTE:
When the receiver first arrives for replacement:
a. It will be in Virgin State.
b. It will not be configured for any specific platform.
c. It will not have any sensor ID's memorized.
CAUTION:
It is important to make sure that the correct receiver is used to replace the malfunctioning part i.e. Low line : 95800-3L500, High Line : 95800-4D100 in
order to have the correct inflation warning thresholds set.
1. Disconnect vehicle battery.
2. Remove malfunctioning part and replace new part.
(1) Using a clip remover, and remove the center facia panel (A).
NOTE:
a. When prying with a flat-tipped screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related part, to prevent
damaged.
b. Put on gloves to protect your hands.
(2) Remove the crash pad side cover (A).

(3) After loosening the mounting screw, then remove the air vent (A).
(4) After disconnecting the receiver connector, then remove the receiver (A).
