a. Remove the split pin (C). 
b. Remove the lock nut (D). 
c. Disconnect the ball joint (A) from knuckle (B) using the special tool (09568-34000).

6. Remove the lower arm mounting bolts (A) from the knuckle.

7. Disconnect the strut assembly mounting bolts (A) from the knuckle.

8. Remove the hub and knuckle as an assembly.

CAUTION:  Be careful not to damage the boot and tone wheel.

DISASSEMBLY 

1. After removing the fixed screws (A) mounting the brake disc (C), remove the brake disc (C) from the hub (B).
