A/C - Whooping/Siren Noise From Right Rear

SERVICE TIP:
Complaints of an intermittent abnormal noise from the right rear on Sedona models, often described as a whooping or siren noise, may be coming
from the rear A/C expansion valve. This noise would only be present with A/C on (front or rear), and usually after up to one hour of driving.
To correct the noise, replace the expansion valve:
P/N: 1K56E 61 R16 (production dates up to 11/25/02)
P/N: 1K56E 61 R16A (production dates after 11/25/02)
Do not replace the complete rear cooling unit assembly.
