Evaporative Canister Vent
This bulletin provides information related to saturation of the evaporative canister that may be experienced in some Sedona vehicles produced between
5/1/01 and 9/25/03 in high ambient temperatures or high altitudes. To correct this problem, Kia is adding a new vent pipe from the evaporative canister.
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1.
Release the parking brake.
2.
Remove the canister vent hose from fitting mounted in the frame rail as shown at point "A".
3.
Remove the screw from the parking cable mounting bracket as shown at point "B".
