Recall Campaign: Seat Belt Buckle Anchor Bolts
This bulletin provides information related to a recall on 2002MY Sedona models to replace second row bench seat and third row seat belt buckle anchor
bolts. The anchor bolts do not comply with all of the specifications of FMVSS 209.
Affected vehicles were produced from 5/1/01 through 11/29/01.
To correct this non-compliance, Kia is recalling affected 2002MY Sedona models to replace the second row bench seat and third row seat belt buckle
anchor bolts.
* NOTICE
There is no charge to the customer for this repair. Under applicable law, you may not sell or otherwise deliver any affected 2002 Sedona until it has
been repaired, pursuant to the procedures set forth in this bulletin.
INSPECTION:
1.
Open left sliding door and check for campaign completion label on rear jam of left sliding door.
