Battery - Battery Discharges Over a Few Days

SERVICE TIP:
Some Sedona EX models with production dates between 3/12/02 and 5/7/02 may experience battery discharge if the vehicle has not been driven for a
few days. A possible cause of this discharge may be a faulty seat lumbar adjustment switch. Use the following procedure to determine if this switch is the
cause:

With doors closed and all accessories off, disconnect battery negative cable.

Connect ammeter (vom) negative lead to battery negative post and ammeter (vom) positive lead to negative battery cable. Give reading a few
seconds to stabilize.

If battery current draw is more than 30 milliamps, disconnect driver's seat lumbar switch and retest current draw.

If battery current draw drops below 30 milliamps with lumbar switch disconnected, replace lumbar switch (P/N 1K56E 88 104).
