Sedona Battery Discharge
This bulletin provides information relating to a possible battery discharge condition on Sedona EX models with power seats.
Some Sedona EX models with production dates between 3/12/02 and 5/7/02 may experience battery discharge if the vehicle has not been driven for a
few days. The probable cause of this discharge is internal current draw from the driver's seat lumbar adjustment switch. Use the following procedure to
determine if this switch is the cause.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE:
1.
With doors closed and all accessories off, disconnect battery negative cable and connect ammeter negative lead to battery negative post and
connect ammeter positive lead to negative battery cable. Give the reading a few seconds to stabilize.
