Return test of solenoid
1. Disconnect the field coil wire from the terminal M.
2. Connect a 12 V battery between terminal B and the body.
NOTE: The test must be performed as quickly as possible (in less than 10 seconds) to prevent The coil from burning.
3. Try to pull the pinion outward and release. If the pinion returns quickly to its original position, everything is in order. If not, replace the solenoid.
