About the Sephia
The Sephia was a compact car built by Kia from 1992 to 2003, and in the United States it went on sale for the 1994 model year. From 1995 most US cars had a 1.8-litre DOHC engine licensed from Mazda (the BP, used in the Mazda Familia). The second generation of 1997 was designed by Kia itself with Mazda's help, and the range was renamed Spectra for 2002.
