Brake Hose/Line: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the brake line with a flare nut wrench.
2. Remove the retaining clip and the flexible hose from the bracket.
INSTALLATION
1. Locate the flexible hose in the bracket and retain it with the clip.
2. Connect the flexible hose to the brake line and tighten the flare nut with a flare nut wrench.

Tightening torque: 9-16 ft. lbs. (13-22 Nm)
NOTE: Verify that the hose is not twisted also that the hose does not contact other parts when the vehicle bounces or when the steering wheel is
fumed fully right or left.
